Description: We are a small, family-owned vineyard in the heart of Armagnac country in SW France. Using traditional vinification methods and minimal chemicals, we produce Cotes de Gascogne wines (white, red and rose), the aperitif Floc de Gascogne and fine Bas-Armagnacs. Our cellar houses Armagnacs dating back to 1929. We are proud to offer visitors the opportunity to stay here on the vineyard in either our 3 bedroom cottage or a private B&B suite in the main farmhouse, guests have use of the beautiful pool overlooking our vines and woodland towards the Pyrenees mountains. We offer tours of the vineyard and tastings daily together with lunches (by prior arrangement)
Visitors are welcome daily at Domaine Lauroux but we ask all our visitors to phone ahead, particularly groups of 6 or more so that we can ensure that Nick is available to conduct the tour and tasting. As we are a small, family-owned winery, we share all aspects of grape-growing and wine making with our guests and if we are particularly busy, guests might even be asked to roll up their sleeves and do some work!
Please email email@example.com or telephone 05 62 08 56 76 to ensure that Nick is available to meet you.

2008 Lauroux Blanc Sec - French Colombard - White
Retail Price: Not provided.
Characteristic of Gascony's white wines, our Blanc Sec 2008 combines traditional grape varietals Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Gros Manseng.
This clean, fresh wine is pale gold in colour; sprightly, clean and packed full with delicious citrus fruits and ripe pineapple.
Served well chilled, Lauroux Blanc Sec is particularly suited to fish or white meat, salads or light pasta dishes. The zesty lemon and cut grass notes offer a perfect accompaniment to spicy and aromatic dishes.
